Gordon Greenwood Elementary School Athletics

Gordon Greenwood students are encouraged to achieve their potential in and out of the classroom. Gordon Greenwood Elementary School offers a variety of opportunities for students to get active, get connected, develop physical skills, and learn about teamwork, commitment and have fun.

Gordon Greenwood Elementary School encourages students from grades 4 – 7 to participate in their lunch hour intramural sports league.  In addition grade 6 and 7 students are eligible to join volleyball and basketball teams, which play against other schools in the North Langley Area.  Students from grade 4 – 7 also have the opportunity to join the school’s cross-country running team every September. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to qualify to represent Gordon Greenwood in the North Langley School’s Track and Field Meet each year. Though students have the opportunity to compete, Gordon Greenwood’s programs are focused on student development and having students discover the joys of athletic participation and being part of a team.
